Well our story starts off with Seraphina requesting a divorce to be issued through parliament, and what a scandal that would be for a woman to ask in this time. And my what a most beautiful and unique name right. The Day of the Duchess features Seraphina. I loved their banter and how loyal they are to each other and the different ways they look out for each other. They are robust, entertaining, unique and quite fun to read. This is the first of the series I have read, and I am so intrigued by these five sisters. The Day of the Duchess is the third book in her most latest series, but I will admit its been awhile since I have managed to pick her up.
